Your Role:

  • Analyze Control-M and Atomic schedules on the mainframe.
  • Troubleshoot and investigate JCL jobs, including spool and SMF.
  • Support conversion of mainframe batch jobs to PowerShell scripts for Azure.

Requirements:

  • Expert in Mainframe JCL, Control-M, and CICS.
  • Strong PowerShell scripting and Azure automation experience.
  • Proven ability to interpret and convert JCL to PowerShell.

Technical Proficiency:

  • Deep knowledge of mainframe batch job concepts (JCL, GDG, PDS).
  • Experience with C#/.NET, SQL Server, and Azure Storage.
  • Understanding of thread safety and concurrency in scripting.
