Job Description
Responsible for performance and availability of Compute and Network infrastructure consumed by all business segments. This role is focused on delivering monitoring and automation capabilities. In this role, you will: Quickly respond and resolve critical service outages. Assist in establishment of performance baseline, capacity thresholds, correlate events, and define monitoring/alerting criteria. Develop automated solutions to address potential problems before they result in a service interruption. Perform basic network troubleshooting to identify and resolve connectivity issues across WAN and LAN environments. Execute WAN/LAN patching tasks, including cable management and configuration updates. Implement device hardening techniques to enhance network security and ensure compliance with best practices. Assist in the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of Cisco SDWAN, Cisco LAN, and Cisco WiFi technologies. Monitor network performance and provide recommendations for optimization. Collaborate with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to support network-related projects and initiatives. Document network configurations, changes, and troubleshooting steps for future reference.
