- This position involves frontline fraud and risk identification, daily decision-making to protect customers and the business, and requires a highly motivated individual with strong communication skills.
- You must carry a sense of tact and empathy under pressure, with a sixth sense for identifying problems and implementing solutions.
You Thrive Here By Possessing the Following:
- 2+ years of merchant underwriting or adjudicating experience in payments or fintech, with strong credit risk experience to identify high-risk businesses.
- A thorough understanding of chargeback prevention best practices and experience improving policies in fast-paced environments.
- Fraud or compliance risk experience, preferably in monitoring accounts and transactions for fraudulent behavior in online businesses.
- Experience with rule-based fraud detection tools and a willingness to apply skills using both internal and third-party tools.
The ability to manage relationships:
- Use excellent communication skills to interact with small business owners, asking critical questions and delivering difficult news effectively.
- Be resourceful in gathering relevant, real-world information and understanding the big picture before making decisions.
