Manager, Payroll

You will have the opportunity to bring your experience to create a world class payroll function responsible for calculating, processing and reconciling payroll for our 600+ Evolvers. Preparation, processing and review of bi-weekly full cycle US exempt and non exempt payroll; including and not limited to, benefits, taxes and off-cycle requests while ensuring compliance with Federal, State and Local regulations. Implement, maintain, and review HRIS and/or payroll processing systems and related systems interfaces to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions including salaries, benefits, garnishments, taxes, and other deductions in a multi-state payroll environment. Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll updates including new hires, terminations, and changes to pay rates. Prepare and maintain accurate records and reports of payroll transactions. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage and hour laws and ensure payroll regulatory filings are completed timely and accurately. Supervise and review the work of the payroll support staff, if any. Facilitate audits by providing records and documentation to auditors. Identify and recommend updates to payroll processing software, systems, and procedures. Implement and document robust internal controls. Create and maintain proper documentation around the steps involved to process payroll. Provide recommendations on process improvements to provide a world class payroll experience. Partner with accounting, finance, and people teams to ensure changes in regulations and business strategy is addressed timely.
