About the Role:
- This senior individual contributor role provides data protection advice, oversight, and challenge across Monzo.
- You will lead key projects within the Global DPO Office and deputise for the DPO.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review DPIAs, assess data breaches, and support regulatory reporting.
- Build scalable processes, governance, and ways of working for a growing global DPO office.
- Proactively find opportunities to improve using data, automation, and AI.
What We're Looking For:
- Practical experience with UK GDPR, PECR, and ICO expectations.
- Self-starter who solves complex problems with proportionate solutions.
- Strong communicator who builds trusted relationships across teams.
