Lead, Compliance

The Lead, Compliance will be responsible for overseeing the company’s compliance framework, ensuring regulatory compliance with AUSTRAC, ASIC, and other relevant bodies. The role involves developing policies, monitoring transactions for financial crime risks, and ensuring the exchange operates with integrity and transparency. Responsibilities include regulatory compliance & governance, developing and maintaining a compliance framework aligned with regulatory bodies, and ensuring adherence to anti-money laundering (AML) and counter-terrorism financing (CTF) regulations. Risk management & monitoring involves overseeing and enhancing transaction monitoring, customer due diligence (CDD), and know-your-customer (KYC) processes. Policy development & implementation includes designing company-wide policies on AML/CTF, sanctions screening, and data privacy. Leadership & stakeholder management involves leading the compliance team and collaborating with legal, product, and technology teams.
