Essential Functions:
- Manage self-pay accounts by setting up payment plans and ensuring timely collection of outstanding balances.
- Accurately post patient payments and adjustments into the billing system and perform regular reconciliations.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies or disputes related to patient accounts to maintain accurate records.
Qualifications and Experience (Required):
- Minimum of 2 years of account receivable experience and knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT medical coding.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong analytical, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
- Excellent communication skills and a demonstrated dedication to Planned Parenthood's mission and equity values.
Compensation & Commitment:
- Hourly pay range is $18.50 - $27, with actual salary based on factors like education and experience.
