Overview:
- Shimmick is seeking a Senior Estimator to support complex civil infrastructure projects across the US.
- This role offers growth opportunity and can be based remotely or in multiple office locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with estimating systems and processes to prepare bid packages and conceptual estimates.
- Develop detailed material take-offs and wage rate build-ups for estimate development.
- Read and interpret drawings and specifications to ensure accuracy.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field plus 4 years of experience.
- Experience estimating heavy civil, heavy industrial, or complex commercial construction projects.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
Compensation & Benefits:
- The salary range is $110,000-$150,000 per year depending on experience and education.
