Manager, Payroll

The Manager, Payroll will be responsible for leading our Payroll function. The Manager, Payroll will thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment, and will be excited by the opportunity to build a best in class Payroll function from the ground up. The Manager, Payroll enjoys being the in-house expert in their field and leveraging their expertise in payroll operations to support Equip’s mission, and will continuously seek ways to strengthen Equip’s Payroll function.

Responsibilities include overseeing the full payroll cycle, identifying process improvement and automation opportunities, collaborating with People, Finance, and IT teams, managing tax filings and compliance, owning the 401k audit, managing the integration between payroll and accounting systems, managing bonuses, preparing account reconciliations and diligence reporting, managing Payroll Analysts, and answering employee questions.

Qualifications include a bachelor's degree, 5+ years of payroll experience, CPP certification, expertise in multi-state tax regulations, leadership abilities, and strong communication skills.
