Accounting Team Lead

About the Role:

• Oversee core accounting activities for a US-focused financial services organization.
• Combine hands-on accounting expertise with team leadership and responsibility for timely, accurate financial reporting.

Responsibilities:

• Manage accrual accounting for loan-related income and expenses, preparing FAS 91 working papers and reconciliations.
• Lead and review the work of two Accounting Analysts, maintaining disciplined monthly close processes.
• Determine and document appropriate accounting treatments for new transactions and business events.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Accounting, with 5–10 years of professional experience.
• Strong practical knowledge of US GAAP, financial reporting, and accounting close processes.
• Proficiency with Sage 300, LAPRO, Excel, and Power BI, plus advanced analytical skills.
