Maintenance Specialist

Role Overview:

• Serve as the main point of contact for maintenance requests submitted through the online portal and communications channels.
• Prioritize urgent issues, assign tasks to qualified vendors based on trade specialty, and ensure high-quality completion.

Vendor & Operations Coordination:

• Source, vet, and maintain relationships with reliable local vendors such as plumbers, electricians, HVAC technicians, and handymen.
• Request, compare, and negotiate quotes for repairs and larger property improvement projects.
• Track work order progress and review vendor invoices for accuracy before approval.

Communication & Customer Service:

• Keep tenants informed about repair status with clear, timely, and empathetic communication.
• Update property owners on property conditions, repair progress, and expenses requiring approval.
• Follow up after repair completion to ensure tenant satisfaction and quality control.

Qualifications & Core Values:

• Strong understanding of residential systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, and carpentry.
