Platform Accounting Analyst

The Finance team at Kraken manages the firm’s liquidity, capital and risk, and provides the overall financial controls and reporting functions. The Platform Accounting team is responsible for financial accounting and reporting on a variety of trading products and transactions including fiat, digital assets, futures, margin, options and other new company initiatives. As a Platform Accounting Analyst, you will interface daily with internal systems and our proprietary exchange platform to assist with fiat and digital asset position reconciliations across our various banks and crypto wallets. Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations for month-end close to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting. Promptly research and correct discrepancies while communicating findings and actions to the appropriate stakeholders cross functionally. You will also independently manage and develop current reconciliation processes for greater efficiency and transparency, while analyzing data against business drivers to identify issues and trends.
