Job Description
As a member of the sales team, you will develop new business opportunities through our distribution channel to drive future growth, directly contributing to exceeding targets in sales growth, margin, accounts receivables, and cost management. A key part of the segment team is to develop and execute our distribution strategy to maximize the BA Industrial Solutions Americas' profitable growth and market share.
You will drive customer centricity through the entire BA organization to establish a preference and premium for our products and solutions, establishing Continental as the preferred partner of choice in the industrial distribution market. This position will support our Southeastern Region, including: North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Georgia, Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Texas.
This is a remote position; however, candidates must reside within the territory and be located within one hour from a major airport, entailing 50% travel with overnight stays. Key responsibilities include segment strategy development and execution, customer acquisition, managing contracts and business proposals, and developing and maintaining strategic relationships with customers. The role also involves leading the business to achieve budget targets and providing critical customer, competitor, and market trends to benchmark our performance.
