Director of Privacy

Rula is hiring a Director of Privacy, reporting to our Compliance and Privacy Officer, to lead and grow our privacy program. In this role, you’ll ensure compliance with HIPAA and other state and federal privacy laws while also addressing emerging risks from Artificial Intelligence (“AI”), machine learning, and advanced analytics. You’ll embed privacy principles into new care delivery models, fostering trust in data-driven innovation and balancing innovation with regulatory and ethical standards. You’ll drive the continued maturity of Rula’s privacy program, oversee AI-related risk and compliance (including supporting Rula’s AI governance framework and AI use case review processes), and lead privacy impact assessments for new tools and processes. You’ll also manage privacy incident and breach response, develop training and awareness initiatives, and ensure vendor practices meet Rula’s privacy standards. Finally, you’ll monitor and report on program performance, keeping leadership informed and driving continuous improvement.
