Looking for a General Counsel to join and lead the Legal function, reporting to the CEO. You will engage in a wide range of matters with internal and external partners, leading a team of attorneys to shape and execute the legal strategy. Responsibilities include providing strategic legal advice, building the legal function, managing commercial contracts, and providing legal training.
This position will provide legal support to Twilio’s R&D Organization and is a key component of the legal team. As a Senior Counsel, you are responsible for partnering with global Product and Engineering teams, providing legal guidance throughout the product life cycle to ensure that the development of our products and services comply with applicable laws.
This attorney will play a vital role in pushing forward the company’s vision for a comprehensive privacy function and supporting the evolution of the global privacy program. The role will work cross-functionally with Legal, Trust, Engineering, Product, Marketing, Compliance, and Communication teams. Providing practical and actionable legal guidance regarding risks and obligations under global laws related to data protection, and incident management.
