About the Role:
- Collaborate with departments to code, review, and release charges accurately.
- Ensure compliance with coding, billing, and charge capture guidelines.
Responsibilities:
- Assign CPT, ICD-10 and modifiers based on documentation.
- Resolve claim edits and denials, monitor charge capture volumes.
- Act as a subject matter expert and train other coders.
Qualifications:
- Three years of Pro-Fee Inpatient E/M coding experience required.
- Certification: CPC, CCS-P, CCS, or RHIT required.
- Knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS, CCI edits, and EHR.
