Distinguished Architect

As Twilio’s Distinguished Architect you will be focused on building the Next Generation Set of Products and Capabilities across the Twilio Platform. The successful candidate will serve as a strategic leader, reporting directly to the Senior Vice President (SVP) of Engineering, playing a vital part in expanding product capabilities and platform primitives to support innovative customer use cases. Responsibilities include defining a strategic vision with senior leadership, establishing standards, and developing scalable, fault-tolerant distributed systems. This role requires collaboration, debugging complex issues, and staying updated on technology advancements. Mentoring engineers and setting industry standards are also key.
