The Role:
- Own and scale risk management across Phoenix's live merchant portfolio.
- Investigate emerging risks and independently drive issues to resolution.
What You'll Own:
- Monitor transaction activity, chargebacks, fraud, and merchant performance.
- Recommend risk controls like reserves, funding holds, and enhanced monitoring.
- Improve monitoring rules, workflows, and risk tooling.
What We're Looking For:
- 5+ years in payments risk, merchant risk, or transaction monitoring.
- Strong investigative skills and comfort with ambiguity.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
