Responsibilities:

  • Systems and network configuration, deployment of applications on bare metal and containers.
  • Maintaining large storage clusters and improving systems automation.
  • On-call support and coordinating bulk data delivery.

Qualifications:

  • Strong Linux knowledge and experience with configuration tools (PXE, Puppet, Ansible, Terraform).
  • Understanding of storage concepts, basic networking, and ability to code in Python and shell.
  • Bachelor's in Computer Science or related field, with 2+ years in systems engineering.

Nice-to-haves:

  • Experience with distributed storage like Ceph, customer support skills, or prior fintech experience.
  • Database administration, cloud engineering basics, and virtualization knowledge.
  • Monitoring/alerting tools familiarity and willingness to travel to data centers on short notice.
