Role Overview:
- Manage and resolve challenging issues for the SRE team, ensuring instance performance, reliability, and availability.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and provide sustainable resolutions within the infrastructure.
- Use software development and systems engineering skills to proactively prevent repeatable issues.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in computer science or engineering, or equivalent.
- Basic knowledge of ITIL-driven IT Operations, including Incident, Problem & Change Management.
- Experience working on Unix/Linux environments and understanding of networking skills, IP addressing, and routing.
Additional Skills (Preferred):
- Familiarity with TCP/IP, networking knowledge, and experience with Splunk.
- Knowledge of configuration management tools like Ansible and Puppet.
- Understanding of relational databases (e.g., MySQL, Oracle, Postgres) and scripting languages (JavaScript, Python, Perl).
