SDE II - Backend

About the Role:

• Netomi is hiring an SDE 2 Backend Engineer to support the design, development, and maintenance of scalable backend services and APIs.
• The role involves owning backend workstreams, building reliable integrations, and improving performance and observability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect and implement clean, modular, and scalable backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and microservices.
• Design efficient database schemas and write optimized queries for RDS (MySQL/PostgreSQL).
• Integrate Kafka or RabbitMQ for event-driven architectures and leverage Redis for caching.

Requirements:

• 2-4 years of hands-on backend development experience in a product-based company, preferably SaaS.
• Strong expertise in Java and Spring Boot ecosystem, with solid understanding of relational databases.
• Experience with Kafka/RabbitMQ and Redis/Memcached for performance tuning.
