The role, in a nutshell:
- Design and ship features, services, and build systems behind Chainguard Containers.
- Lead sub-teams of two to four engineers and multiply team output.
- Stay hands-on, spending most of your week building.
What you'll do:
- Architect major new capabilities from concept through production.
- Make high-leverage trade-offs and document decisions.
- Mentor engineers and set standards for AI-assisted development.
What we're looking for:
- 5+ years building and operating customer-facing software.
- Deep Go expertise, plus containers, registries, and Kubernetes.
- Excellent written English and remote-first experience.
