Responsibilities:
- Review and process applications in all DOHMH license applications and all relevant information.
- Mange the day to day operations of the unit.
- Supervise staff, including tracking and assigning tasks, to ensure productivity and effectiveness, conducting training and providing guidance
Operations:
- Develop, document and implement internal systems, policies, and procedures that help to organize and guide the division’s work and operations, document database issues, and improve overall performance.
- Check records for accuracy of information and for conformity with established policy and procedures.
- Back up other supervisors and units as directed
Communication:
- Assist applicants with outreach to other city agencies, as well as interagency communication to help resolve issues pertaining to their license.
- Answer telephone calls, emails and written correspondence and communicate applicant information.
- Attend seminars, meetings and/or trainings
