Remote Bilingual Absence Claims Specialist

As a Bilingual Absence Claims Specialist, you will be responsible for processing medical certifications in a high-production environment, while also managing email correspondence and communicating with customers. This role reports to a Claims Team Lead. Primary responsibilities include reviewing Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), state, company, and other absence certifications as mandated by state and federal guidelines and in coordination with customer policies. You will also provide accurate and timely responses to internal and external partners, contact medical providers, maintain documentation, process reports, and analyze data, while maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA regulations. Ongoing education and special projects are also part of the role.
