Job Description
We are looking for a Manager, Solution Engineering to join our team at LaunchDarkly. You will manage a team of Solution Engineers who are technical experts and trusted advisors for our customers and prospects. Solution Engineers help qualify and close opportunities through sales presentations, product demonstrations and Technical Validation (ie: Proof of Values (POVs)). You will take an active role in the region for supporting customer facing activities and engagements for our large accounts. You will ensure tight collaboration and knowledge sharing across our broader go-to market teams and product teams.
Supervise day-to-day activities of Solutions Engineers, ensuring timely and effective support of sales opportunities. Collaborate with the Sales team to coordinate customer demonstrations and respond to technical inquiries. Provide input to improve internal tools, processes, and documentation based on frontline experience and feedback. Support onboarding and skill development through coaching and shadowing. Conduct performance reviews and support career development through individual plans. Partner with Recruiting to participate in interviews and support hiring efforts. Serve as a liaison between the Solutions Engineering team and cross-functional teams to escalate customer feedback.
