Job Description
In this role, you will develop backend services, adapters, and integrations using Java, Spring Boot, and Apache Camel for CMS mandates (Patient Access, Provider Access, P2P, Prior Auth). You will deliver FHIR R4+/SMART on FHIR APIs aligned with US Core and applicable Implementation Guides, ensuring full terminology compliance (LOINC, SNOMED CT, RxNorm, ValueSets). You will also participate in customer meetings, office hours, demos, and escalations, explaining technical concepts clearly and professionally. You will write clean, maintainable code with strong unit/integration testing (JUnit, Testcontainers, MockMVC) and participate in detailed peer reviews. Build CI/CD pipelines in GitLab, manage Helm deployments on Kubernetes, and troubleshoot services, pods, and performance issues. You will integrate with Kafka or equivalent messaging queues and relational databases (PostgreSQL/MS SQL) to deliver scalable, event-driven data pipelines. The role includes mentoring junior developers, and promoting best practices in design, automation, and maintainability. Part of the project management is ensuring that all working hours are accurately reported in the time tracking system on a daily or weekly basis.
