Database Administrator

• Perform database capacity planning, installation, configuration, database design, migration, performance monitoring, security, troubleshooting, as well as backup and data recovery operations.
• Act as a subject matter expert for data management and interact with internal and external teams to troubleshoot and provide best practices regarding database implementation and maintenance.
• Write and tune SQL queries and review schema designs for optimal performance.

Technical Director

Establish, implement, and drive the strategic technical direction of the Health Data Platform Features team by translating business goals into a coherent technical roadmap focused on scalability, reliability, and engineering excellence. Manage day-to-day engineering priorities and establish best practices that drive consistent delivery, maintain technical quality, and support organizational goals. Champion a culture of engineering rigor, code quality, and continuous improvement.

Cloud Site Reliability Engineer

The Cloud Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) is responsible for ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of production-grade services deployed across multiple cloud vendors and infrastructure platforms for Smile Digital Health, its clients, and partners. Working closely with engineering, product, and security teams, the SRE ensures systems meet strict SLAs for performance and availability while driving continuous optimization across multiple cloud platforms.

Cloud Developer

The Cloud Developer is responsible for designing, building and maintaining cloud hosted services and platforms to support Smile Digital Health’s SaaS and offering. This includes owning the development and maintenance of deployment artifacts such as HELM charts, docker container/ compose configurations, infrastructure as code and build/deployment/automation pipelines. The role works closely with platform, infrastructure, architecture and security teams to ensure cloud deployments are scalable, reliable, secure and aligned with enterprise architecture patterns.

Director, Tech

The Technical Director will be responsible for developing and driving the strategy for the Health Data Platform as well as guiding a highly effective engineering team to deliver scalable and reliable feature development for core platform applications. Critical strengths should lie in product strategy, stakeholder alignment, and technical program leadership.
