About the Role:
- Implement backend features in a Rust-first Knowledge Graph service, supporting GitLab Duo agents and analytics.
- Own components like SDLC indexing and query paths, reducing single points of failure through tests and runbooks.
- Collaborate across teams asynchronously and participate in code reviews and knowledge sharing.
What You'll Bring:
- Production experience with backend systems, reliability, and incident response.
- Proficiency in at least one backend language with strong interest in Rust and distributed data systems.
- Interest in graph data modeling and using AI tools in day-to-day development.
