Docker is looking for a results-oriented Account Executive. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a track record of selling to strategic level accounts. Responsibilities include meeting with prospects to generate interest in purchasing commercial Docker products and identifying areas to expand their partnership with Docker. They will achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets, forecast business accurately, and drive the growth of Docker within the existing user base. The role involves engaging with clients, responding to inquiries, and partnering with cross-functional teams.
Qualifications include 2+ years of sales experience selling to mid-market and/or enterprise customers. Preference is given to those selling technical products to developer and engineering personas. Experience with Open Source Software business models and all aspects of B2B technology sales is preferred. The candidate should have strong communication and sales skills, including pre-call planning, objection handling, and be team oriented.
