E&S Claim Specialist

This position involves handling litigated and non-litigated commercial general liability claims with a focus on insurance coverage analysis and risk transfer. The Claims Specialist will recognize exposures, ensure appropriate reserving, evaluate coverage issues, and ensure proper investigation of facts. Retaining experts when necessary, selecting counsel where needed, and employing proper negotiation strategies are all part of the role. Outstanding customer service is essential to communicate effectively with internal and external partners, formulating resolution strategies to achieve the best claim outcome. Periodic travel may be required for mediations, trials, or other related meetings.
