As a Patient Account Specialist, you will be responsible for processing account payments, updating insurance and demographic information, and researching payments. You will also rebill insurance when updates have been provided and work with other departments to achieve resolution, including adjustments and insurance follow-up. This position has the ability to work remote for Colorado residents.

Responsible for determining the patient financial component for patient services. Estimates, communicates and collects the patient financial responsibility and provides patient financial counseling. Assists patients in understanding their insurance benefits including their co-payment, deductible and co-insurance responsibility.

You’ll handle a variety of complex service interactions and ensure each customer feels informed, valued, and confident in their protection.

Assist Newfront Emerging Clients (2-100 lives) on a day-to-day basis by servicing them with the optimal combination of employee benefit programs, communication, and service administration to help them achieve their business goals. Your exceptional communication and project management skills help you connect with clients by email and phone, quickly establishing trust and rapport.

Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for a designated book of clients, managing their insurance needs with minimal oversight. Lead the renewal and remarketing process, coordinating with carriers to secure optimal coverage and pricing. Provide consultative guidance to clients on coverage gaps, policy structures, and strategic insurance decisions.

Serve as the primary financial contact for caregivers during onboarding into behavioral health services reviewing and explaining insurance benefit coverage and Lyra Health’s estimated costs for care in a clear, compassionate manner. You will answer initial financial and insurance-related questions, escalating or redirecting to the family’s insurance plan for detailed inquiries, and collaborate with the Care Coordination and Clinical teams.
