About Crimson Goes Blue:
- Founded in 2019 by Harvard alumni to mobilize the Harvard community for Democratic elections and democracy defense.
- Over 3,000 members and expects to raise $2 million for candidates in 2026.
The Opportunity:
- Guide the transition from a founder-led organization to a sustainable, scalable institution.
- Work with the Board to provide strategic, fundraising, and organizational leadership.
- Leverage a small staff and a network of volunteer alumni leaders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set tone of urgency and strategic clarity; oversee communications and PR.
- Develop membership growth and revenue strategies; lead major gift fundraising.
- Recruit and develop teams of staff and volunteers; manage budget and compliance.
Candidate Profile:
- Harvard degree or significant Harvard affiliation required.
- Seven-plus years of progressive leadership in political, advocacy, or nonprofit organizations.
- Proven success in individual and major gift fundraising and volunteer development.

Crimson Goes Blue is the nation’s first alumni-based activist organization dedicated to political mobilization. Founded in 2019, it has grown to over 3,000 Harvard alumni, faculty, and staff who are drawn by its strategic activism and community.
