The Opportunity:

  • Guide the transition from a founder-led organization to a sustainable, scalable institution.
  • Work with the Board to provide strategic, fundraising, and organizational leadership.
  • Leverage a small staff and a network of volunteer alumni leaders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set tone of urgency and strategic clarity; oversee communications and PR.
  • Develop membership growth and revenue strategies; lead major gift fundraising.
  • Recruit and develop teams of staff and volunteers; manage budget and compliance.

Candidate Profile:

  • Harvard degree or significant Harvard affiliation required.
  • Seven-plus years of progressive leadership in political, advocacy, or nonprofit organizations.
  • Proven success in individual and major gift fundraising and volunteer development.

Crimson Goes Blue is the nation’s first alumni-based activist organization dedicated to political mobilization. Founded in 2019, it has grown to over 3,000 Harvard alumni, faculty, and staff who are drawn by its strategic activism and community.
