Job Description
The Compensation Analyst will research job requirements and evaluate and maintain job positions to ensure the company is competitive in the areas of salaries and employee benefits.
Responsibilities include assessing jobs and their duties to determine classification as exempt or nonexempt and appropriate salary range. They will benchmark jobs against survey data and other market intelligence to determine competitive compensation ranges, and prepare and maintain job classifications and salary scales.
The analyst will also collect and compile HR metrics and data, prepare reports, interview employees, gather data from compensation surveys, evaluate job analysis instruments, research employee benefits, plan preferred methods for compensating employees, and advise management on employment regulations. Maintaining HRIS job and compensation information is also a key part of the role.
