Technical Lead Manager, ML Dataset Platform

About the Role:

• You will lead and grow the ML Dataset Platform team, setting technical direction and managing engineers.
• You will define APIs, tools, and storage formats for ML datasets across Waabi.
• You will own common dataloading tools and drive adoption of the platform.

Responsibilities:

• Build tooling to manage datasets at scale, including versioning and incremental updates.
• Design APIs for training-time transformations and streamline multi-cloud data access.
• Make data lineage a first-class property and partner with ML teams on transitions.

Qualifications:

• You have deep ML dataset experience with large-scale infrastructure and strong Python and PyTorch skills.
• You have proven technical and people leadership, managing teams and driving adoption.
• You communicate clearly and collaborate across teams in a fast-paced environment.
