The Role:

  • Guarantee the integrity of every dollar of subscription revenue by owning month-end close, including revenue journals, deferred revenue, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
  • Keep billing systems running by acting as functional owner of NetSuite Advanced Revenue Management, ensuring reliability and data integrity.
  • Drive DSO down and reduce manual exceptions by diagnosing and fixing problems at the CRM-to-ERP handoff.

Your Team:

  • Manage three direct reports: two Billing & Cash Application Specialists and an Accounts Receivable Analyst who also owns collections.
  • The team is solid and doesn't need micromanaging but needs a manager who can make tough calls and unblock upstream issues.
  • Your team is central to executing structural projects like the US-entity tax initiative and revenue tech stack review.

What You'll Bring:

  • CPA designation with 7–10 years of finance experience, including at least 3 in a revenue accounting or billing operations role in a SaaS or subscription business.
  • Hands-on experience with NetSuite (including Advanced Revenue Management) and a subscription billing platform (Recurly, Zuora, Maxio, or similar).
  • Active, habitual use of AI tools in a finance or operations context, looking for ways to integrate them.
