The Role:

  • We are seeking an Application Support Engineer to troubleshoot incoming support tickets and maintain our FHIR-based health data platform.
  • This role works closely with clients and internal teams to support the product and includes on-call rotation for Tier 2 issues.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide advanced technical support by partnering with Tier 1 and Tier 2 teams to resolve complex incidents.
  • Analyze requirements to design scalable solutions and collaborate on enhancements and defect fixes.
  • Lead technical decision-making, evaluate emerging technologies, and mentor junior developers.

Requirements:

  • Successful completion of coding camp/diploma/degree and 3+ years of Java software development experience.
  • Experience with HL7 (V2, FHIR) is highly preferred; Hibernate, Spring, REST, Git are assets.
  • Preference for candidates based in Ontario; strong analytical and problem-solving skills required.
