Financial Planning and Reporting:
- Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range operating planning with all business functions.
- Drive department investment rationalization and maintain cash runway visibility.
- Prepare board and investor reporting packages, KPIs, and management dashboards.
Business Partnering:
- Serve as finance partner to R&D, CMC, clinical, and G&A leaders.
- Provide budget-vs-actual analyses and model program costs and clinical trial budgets.
- Review major contracts for financial terms and operational efficiency.
Accounting Operations and Team:
- Oversee all accounting operations, cash management, and internal controls with a path to SOX readiness.
- Coordinate 409A valuations, tax compliance, and external audits.
- Build and lead a lean finance team, owning the finance tech stack and integrations.
