Citrix Virtualization Engineer

The Citrix Virtualization Engineer is responsible for supporting and maintaining Emory Healthcare’s large scale enterprise and cloud environment of virtual application and desktop infrastructure, primarily Citrix, with ongoing expansion into platforms such as Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD). This position performs routine maintenance, monitors system health, assists with infrastructure upgrades, and contributes to platform-related projects that ensure virtual environment stability. The role requires a blend of technical skills, collaboration, and an understanding of how virtualized infrastructure systems interact. Includes after-hours maintenance and on-call rotations to support critical tier 1 systems. Work with cross-functional teams for capacity planning, focusing on future scalability and resource optimization across all environments.
