Job Description

This role is responsible for helping to reach fundraising goals by providing project coordination and administrative support to the Chief Development Officer (CDO) and Individual Giving team. This role reports to the CDO. Serves as the first point of contact for general outreach to the development office, field inquiries to colleagues as appropriate. Provides support in written communications to donors and prospects. Assists with prospect research, as needed. Assists with preparing and sending major donor mailings and appeals. Supports Individual Giving team in moves management process and prospect tracking through database input and reports. Liaises with Salesforce Manager to support quarterly portfolio reviews of gift officers. Maintains and updates KIND’s GuideStar profile, Charity Navigator, Matching Gift Profiles, and other giving platforms. Manages thank you note process for individual donors, including tribute letters. Prepares presentations, fact-sheets, and other major donor-facing materials. Schedules appointments, meetings, and manages the Chief Development Officer’s calendar. Prepares agendas, take minutes, and ensure smooth logistics and follow up. Edits documents, presentations, reports, and other materials.
