Lead Product Designer, Design Systems

About the Role:

• Shape the design system behind HighLevel's product experience, used by product teams and the developer community.
• Treat the system as a product with its own customers, roadmap, and success measures, partnering with design leadership and front-end engineers.

What You'll Do:

• Lead strategy and execution for design system areas, defining visual foundations and refining components and patterns.
• Create primitives, templates, and starter kits that help teams build quickly with AI tools while staying on-system.
• Guide contribution, versioning, and governance models to let the system grow without fragmentation.

What We Are Looking For:

• 7+ years of product design experience, including building or leading a multi-team design system.
• Expert command of Figma libraries, variables, and token pipelines, plus deep fluency in HTML, CSS, and component frameworks like React or Vue.
• A clear point of view on how design systems should support AI-assisted development, with hands-on experience using AI coding tools.
