Job Description
SPORTSENGINE is looking for an experienced Senior Infrastructure Engineer to contribute to platform growth. As a Senior Infrastructure Engineer, you will lead the migration effort for changing external DNS providers, assist with the migration of applications, systems, and services from on-prem datacenters to AWS, and oversee the security patching of all systems (Vmware, Windows and Linux). You will also manage and maintain VMware virtualization platforms and enterprise hardware, including servers, storage, and networking. Expertise in managing PKI and managing certs at scale is essential.
The role involves monitoring and troubleshooting infrastructure performance, capacity, and security issues, as well as administering and optimizing Okta for single sign-on, MFA, lifecycle management, and integrations with SaaS and on-prem applications. Partnering with Security and Compliance teams to implement and enforce IAM best practices is a key responsibility. You'll also develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automate system provisioning, configuration, and monitoring to reduce manual intervention, and partner with application, security, and compliance teams to align infrastructure strategy with business needs. The position requires providing technical mentorship to junior engineers and contributing to best practices documentation, as well as acting as a subject matter expert during audits, compliance reviews, and incident response.
