Director of Accounting

Build and lead the accounting function, including hiring and managing a team over time. Establish accounting policies, procedures, and controls to support scalability, compliance, and audit readiness. Own Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable and ensure timely vendor payment and receipt. Own and optimize the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process. Lead preparation of financial statements in accordance with US GAAP. Manage technical accounting topics. Lead systems implementation and optimization . Ensure regulatory compliance. Expand accounting team and capabilities Support Board and investor reporting. Support fundraising, M&A, and strategic initiatives.
