Senior Software Engineer

About the Role:

• Develop the future platform of communications as part of the SMS Engineering team.
• Work on SMS connectivity layer to build and optimize for delivery.
• Develop a complex distributed platform in Java focusing on availability, throughput, latency, and data integrity.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and deploy features alongside a distributed collaborative team.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.

Qualifications:

• Experience with Java frameworks such as Dropwizard, Spring, Hibernate.
• Strong Computer Science fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, and distributed systems.
• Experience with cloud services like AWS and containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
