About the Team:
- The Data & AI team is responsible for building B Lab's data platform, delivering on business priorities, and scaling AI adoption across the organization.
- The Data & ML Platforms team owns the data platform, ML infrastructure, and foundational data models.
About the Opportunity:
- As a Junior Data Engineer, you build and maintain data pipelines and infrastructure that the rest of the Data & AI team depends on.
- Your first priority is unblocking the onboarding of new data sources, which is currently a top hiring priority.
Core Responsibilities:
- Own pipeline development end-to-end, designing and building robust ETL/ELT pipelines.
- Support foundational data models and ensure data availability for downstream consumers.
- Explore and pilot new tools to improve onboarding speed and pipeline reliability.
About You:
- You have a BA/BS in Computer Science or related field and 2+ years of data engineering experience.
- You are proficient in SQL, Python, Git, and Infrastructure as Code.
- You have experience designing and deploying data solutions and onboarding new data sources.
