Job Description

The Administrative Assistant is essential to the Department of Excellence, coordinating efforts in HR, Communications, Learning & Development, and Business Support. Responsibilities include managing calendars, organizing logistics for internal events and trainings, maintaining project documentation, and supporting department leadership with meeting preparation and action item tracking. The role also involves drafting internal communications, tracking project milestones, providing front desk support, and assisting in cross-functional efforts.

Competencies include organizational excellence, strong communication skills, collaboration, attention to detail, problem-solving, adaptability, and professionalism. The position requires a high school diploma (associate or bachelor’s preferred) and at least two years of administrative or receptionist experience. This is a full-time, non-exempt hourly position, with normal office hours and some weeks over 40 hours required, based in Springfield, MO, serving employees in all physical locations and those working remotely.
