Accounts Receivable Specialist

Role Overview:

• Manage insurance accounts receivable to optimize reimbursement and reduce aging balances.
• Work closely with Revenue Cycle leads, finance, and clinical teams to resolve payment discrepancies and improve AR performance.

What You'll Do:

• Follow up with insurance payers on outstanding claims, underpayments, denials, and payment variances.
• Accurately post payments, adjustments, and remittances; reconcile ERA/EOBs, deposits, and unapplied cash.
• Analyze AR data, identify trends, and support month-end close and reporting.

What We're Looking For:

• Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of healthcare revenue cycle experience with AR, payment posting, or insurance billing.
• Proficiency with EMR/billing systems and Google Workspace; experience with Athenahealth, Apero, or Salesforce a plus.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills with attention to detail.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Salary range $47,000 - $52,000 annually plus bonus eligibility.
