Cloud Operations Engineer

This is an excellent opportunity to join SearchStax Cloud team, providing technical support to customers and ensuring the availability and reliability of our search service. SearchStax is looking for a rockstar to join it’s Cloud Operations team to help manage and provide support for it's search-as-a-service platform and scale it to serve thousands of customers across the world. This entails installing, configuring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing open source and custom-built software. Initiatives will include analysis and improvements around application reliability, disaster recovery, cloud management, distributed systems, and cluster management. You will collaborate closely with Engineers and Other Cloud Operations engineers to ensure high availability and smooth daily operations of the service. Resolve customer support tickets and service incidents and requests in a timely and professional manner via effective investigation, triage and resolution of these requests. You will be responsible for setting up backups, deploying software, upgrading systems, and performing other routine maintenance tasks - Manually or using Automation (ideally via Ansible or other scripting language).
