Freelance IT Product Manager for a LIMS in Clinical Diagnostics

Product Strategy & Vision:

• Define and maintain the product vision, objectives, and value proposition aligned with business strategy.
• Translate business strategy into a clear product roadmap ensuring enterprise architecture and compliance alignment.
• Own product success metrics including value, adoption, satisfaction, and cost efficiency.

Stakeholder & Business Alignment:

• Serve as the single point of contact and facilitate decision-making between business, IT, and external partners.
• Collect, analyze, and prioritize business needs and user feedback.
• Communicate roadmap, priorities, and trade-offs transparently to all stakeholders.

Backlog & Delivery Management:

• Own and maintain the product backlog, defining and prioritizing epics, features, and requirements based on value.
• Work closely with delivery teams to plan and deliver increments, ensuring solutions meet business expectations.
• Support sprint planning, reviews, and demos to validate outcomes and drive continuous improvement.

Lifecycle & Financial Oversight:

• Manage the product across its full lifecycle from ideation to retirement, collaborating with support and operations.
• Support forecasting, budget tracking, and contribute to business cases and cost/benefit analyses.
• Lead product review and steering meetings, providing regular status updates and dashboards on value, adoption, and risks.
