Job Description

The objective of this role at Yugabyte is to work closely with the EMEA Sales Team to develop and execute both inbound and outbound lead generation campaigns from ideation through to qualified calls with prospects. Applicants should be effective at researching target accounts, identifying people in relevant personas, generating interest and developing accounts to stimulate opportunity. The successful applicant will also efficiently follow up on sales inquiries from inbound emails, phone calls, events, and other sources, maintain good activity and ensure that customer information and activity is tracked and documented in the CRM. Our initial contact with future customers can occur in many ways and via many different roles, which means working with several stakeholders and teams within the customer organization, including: senior management, project management, infrastructure, dbas, and application development - each will have their own specific areas of concern and interest. This means you will need the ability to articulate the YugabyteDB value proposition in multiple forms, highlighting the benefits for each team, and understanding the technical language they use and the ecosystem in which they operate.
