Responsibilities:
- Read and evaluate fiction submissions under the guidance of a senior editor.
- Prepare concise reader reports summarizing a manuscript's premise, strengths, areas for development, and potential fit.
- Research comparable titles, authors, and relevant fiction trends.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong interest in commercial genre fiction, including romantasy, cozy mysteries, and retellings.
- Excellent reading comprehension and written communication skills.
- Currently enrolled in or recently completed a degree in English, Creative Writing, or Publishing.
Additional Information:
- Part-time, remote internship working approximately two days per week at $20/hour.
- Open to candidates in eligible U.S. states.
